Planning For Children At A Wedding

WEDDING PLANNING SUGGESTIONS

WEDDING DANCE SONGS

  1. Always remember that some people may bring their children with to your Wedding.

  2. If you keep children entertained they will not only have fun but there is a far less chance of them interfering with any part of the Wedding or Wedding Dance.

  3. The hardest part for a child at a Wedding is the time between the ceremony and dinner and then between dinner and the dance.

  4. Having a table set up with items such as coloring books and games will often help keep them occupied.

  5. Also if possible having a TV with a video player or DVD player so they can watch a movie is also a very good idea.

  6. Many times the food at a Wedding is not orientated for children. If your dinner does not contain items that children like consider having food just for the children.

  7. Having an area that children can lay down and take a nap can help prevent small children from getting a bit to cranky. Just a mat for them to lay down with is usually sufficient.

  8. Encourage parents that plan to bring a child with to your wedding to bring a favorite toy.

  9. When planning your wedding ask people to put on their R.S.V.P. if they are bringing any children.

  10. When Planning your Wedding Day see if you can get any volunteers to play a game or 2 with the children at different times of the day.

  11. Maybe you can get someone to read them a story.

  12. Grand Parents will often enjoy doing things with the children if asked.

  13. Sometimes giving children a simple task that they can help with will make them feel important.

  14. Children can also bring many laughs if they are involved with any of the routines at your Wedding Dance.

  15. If the Bride and Groom have children involving them in a dance or something throughout the day will help them feel like they are still important.

  16. Children also enjoy receiving little prizes or gifts.

  17. Try not to leave the children out of the dance. Playing the chicken dance is often very entertaining for them.

  18. Having a sugar free drink available for children can often be a good idea.

  19. On a hot day popsicles or something similar can put a big smile on a Childs face.

  20. Try to make the day as fun for them as your other guests. This is often quite easier than most would think.
