Letting the Wedding Party steal the Bride and Groom
after dinner has been served.
-
Make sure that the Wedding Party doesn't leave when the
dance starts until their duties are completed. Such as tracking down one
person for the Wedding Party Dance can slow things down a quite a bit.
-
Forgetting where the Bouquet and Garter are or leaving
them somewhere.
-
Not having something for children to do!
-
Thinking 4 or 5 hours of dance time is a lot. It will go
by very quick!
-
Not leaving enough time for dinner, cake or time to get
to the reception.
-
Leaving to much time in between dinner, cake, or for
getting to the reception.
-
Trying to change to many things at the last minute.
-
Having the Ceremony to early and dinner to late.
-
Not bringing comfortable shoes for dancing.
-
Putting all the disposable cameras at guest tables. Have
at least a couple at the head table.
-
Not eating before the Ceremony! Do not eat a big meal
but a small one will help a lot in making it through the day.
-
Not having Security! Many people feel that it isn't
necessary to have security and in most cases they are right but, if
something does happen it is always better to have someone else take care
of it.
-
Not double checking times for dinner, dance and the time
the establishment closes.
-
Not planning for someone to stay sober and drive
if necessary.
-
Planning the gift opening to early the next day.
-
Going out and having too much fun the night before your
wedding. Try to plan bachelor or bachelorete a week before or at least
with one night for rest before the Wedding Day.
-
Rental items being lost! Remind everyone that cuff links
can be quite expensive.
-
Not assigning a person to collect items after the dance
that you wish to keep. Especially if you are not responsible for clean
up.
-
Not placing an ashtray outside for smokers if they have
to go outside to smoke.
